Refund Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Each event has its own rule
The organiser or promoter of each event sets its refund rule, and the event page shows it under “Good to know” before you buy. An event follows one of two kinds of rule:
- All sales are final. There are no refunds if you change your mind or cannot go. You are refunded only if the event is cancelled, or if it is postponed and the promoter offers refunds, as described below.
- Refunds up to a date. You can ask for a full refund up to a number of days before the event, and sometimes a part refund after that. The event page gives the exact days and amounts. Ask from My tickets, or from the link in your ticket email if you bought as a guest. The organiser reviews your request and we email you the answer.
If an event is cancelled
We refund the full amount you paid for your tickets, automatically, whatever the event’s rule. You do not need to ask. The money goes back to the card or wallet you paid with, your tickets stop working and we email you to confirm. Banks usually show the refund within 5 to 10 working days.
If an event is postponed
Your tickets stay valid for the new date, which the event page shows. Whether refunds are offered for a postponed event is the promoter’s decision. If they are, we email every buyer and refund the ticket price to the payment method used. Questions: hello@redtik.io.
Payments that arrive too late
Tickets are held for a short time while you pay. If your payment reaches us after that time has run out, the tickets have already gone back on sale, so we refund the payment in full automatically.
If you used a voucher
A refund pays back what you actually paid. If a RedTik voucher took an amount off your order, that amount is not paid out in cash. If only some tickets in an order are refunded, each ticket is refunded at the price you paid for it after the voucher.
Where refunds go
Every refund goes back to the payment method you used, in the currency you paid in. If your bank converted the payment, it converts the refund at its own rate on the day, so the amount in your own currency can differ slightly.
Contact us
If something has gone wrong with a payment or a refund, or you are not sure which rule applies to your tickets, write to hello@redtik.io with your order number and a person will reply, normally within three working days. Please write to us before asking your bank to reverse a payment: a disputed payment takes weeks to settle, and we can usually sort it out sooner. You can read the full Terms of Service too.
